rFactor Ignition is a user-friendly interface for defining various conditions in which to launch rFactor. These include a specific mod, spinner / showroom, player & controller profiles, FoV settings and much more. It also has a feature to launch (externally) your favorite telemetry program. From Ignition you can also launch rF Config.exe, edit your .PLR file or Controller.ini

This program was written by Ian H in conjunction with Team Players Virtual Garage.

Features

One of the main features of Ignition is to allow for adding new showrooms to rFactor and to be able to associate a specific showroom with a mod.

Update Feature


Ignition has a very nice feature that will allow you to check for and download updates. It is not an auto update and will only check for udates when you want, but it is an added feature that Ian included to make it easy to check for the newest version.


Showrooms


Ignition comes with a couple of new showrooms for you to use but the main feature is the ability to create your own. Included is a Showroom Template for you to start creating your own simple showrooms right away. I have set up a separate section which explains how the showroom works and how to make your own.


Ignition also has the ability to package up a showroom so you can easily distribute your own creations for others to install. Installing and packaging up a showroom is very simple and just requires a couple of mouse clicks.


Using Telemetry


We have included the ability launch your favorite telemetry program from Ignition. It has been tested with F1C and Motec programs but should work with any external program.
